How do people do it? How do people find the motivation to wake up THAT early to work out?
Let’s start with few tips NOT to snooze your alarm:
Prepare your workout clothes the night before and put them somewhere close by so you don’t have to think and look for them with your eyes half open in the morning – which could seem like an overwhelming task and put you right back to bed.
Set up your alarm and put your phone FAR FAR FAR away from you so you’ll have to get up anyway to snooze it, and once you’re up you might as well just keep going!
Try and go to bed 15m earlier than you usually do, so you’ll feel – at least mentally – less tired and less anxious about waking up earlier than usual.
Visualize the feeling you get after a Motion workout class, whether it’s an evening class or a morning class, yes you know what we’re talking about, because THAT feeling is worth the early wake up itself.
Consistency is key to create a new habit. Give yourself and your body time to adjust and each wake up will seem easier than the previous.
